Tomahawk Desktop is compatible with Intel multi-core processors, Intel Pentium III, Intel Pentium 4, Intel Pentium M (Centrino), Intel Celeron (Coppermine/P4-based) and Intel Xeon (32-bit version).

Hard disks

When it comes to hard disks, it supports IDE, SATA and SCSI type hard disks does not matter what the size is (Giga byte or Tera byte) or does not matter what the speed is, eg. 5400rpm, 7200rpm, 10000rpm or 15000rpm.

RAM

Tomahawk Desktop desktop supports RAM upto 4GB.

Graphic Chipsets

Tomahawk Desktop supports plethora of on-board graphic chipsets as well as monster graphic cards from Nvidia, etc.

Monitors/ LCD flat panels

Computer CRT monitors or LCD flat panels up to 3840x2400 (16:10 Wide), 1920x1080 (16:9 Wide), 2560x2048 (5:4) and 3200x2400 (4:3) resolutions and aspect-ratios are supported.

Audio

Tomahawk Desktop is compatible with sound chipsets from Creative, M-Audio, and many others.

Wireless Internet

Tomahawk Desktop supports Intel Centrino wireless technology out of the box. The Intel Centrino wireless technology is the de facto standard for almost all of modern laptops and notebooks. Tomahawk Desktop supports only Intel PRO/Wireless 2100, 2200BG and 2915ABG.

Accessories

Tomahawk Desktop natively supports for devices that comply with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Mass Storage Specification.

Any audio player, thumb drive, digital camera or a portable USB hard disk, etc. which supports USB Mass Storage, is just plug-and-play with Tomahawk Desktop. No mounting or unmounting hassle. Almost all such devices today support USB Mass Storage.

What this means to an end user? That is, to use any audio player or any digital camera with Tomahawk Desktop, you don't need drivers or any other software! Just plug it, open a file browser window, access it as if were another folder! Can it be any simpler?
